Sustainability Series at First Presbyterian Church Starts Wednesday March 12
The First Presbyterian Church in downtown Fort Wayne is having an “Earth Matters” series of presentations, beginning starting Wednesday March 12 at 6:30 PM. The first presentation in the five week series is led by Rev. Jeff Lehn and is entitled, “A Theological Perspective on Earth Care: Why it Matters.”

Gas to electricity: GM plans to exploit landfills for energy
Fort Wayne Assembly, part of GM, will use landfill gas to generate electricity. Recent funding for the project from GM will save the Indiana vehicle assembly plant (and another one in Michigan) money and reduce CO2 usage by an estimated 89,000 metric tons annually.
