Richard and Marni Waterfield have sponsored an endowment that will support a student internship at the ERC. Participants will receive a financial award that would be used to support research or community engagement projects through the ERC that relate to the development of sustainable approaches to human impacts on the environment. Awardees would also have access to space and resources within the ERC, and be invited to participate in a community devoted to the study of the environment, nature and sustainability, including engaging with the ERC director and a faculty mentor.
