Spring 2020 Event Updates

In accordance with decisions by the University and CDC recommendations regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19), the ERC’s annual Earth Day celebration – Conservation Conversation unfortunately, will be postponed until further notice. As are many of the spring events we were planning and looking forward to:

World Wetlands Day @ ERC

Join us in the celebration of World Wetland’s Day on Saturday, February 1st! Events will be ongoing all day across Allen County and will finish right here at the ERC. Come at 6:30 for refreshments and stay for Dr. Bruce Kingsbury’s talk and a giveaway starting at 7!

Visit LRWP’s site for more event details and history on the day. We hope to see you at one or all of the events including joining us for conversation and to see what’s new at the ERC!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our housewarming party on Sunday! We had a great time sharing the new space and our vision for the future. Special shout out to Jordan Marshall for leading the tree walk and Soarin’ Hawk Raptor Rehab for teaching us about some incredible birds. Big thanks to Purdue Master Gardener Program – Allen CountyPurdue Extension – Allen County, and Purdue Fort Wayne Department of Biology for donating raffle prizes, and to Purdue Fort Wayne College of Arts & Sciences for donating shirts for us to decorate. We are so appreciative of the continued support and look forward to seeing everyone at future events!
